Mr. Vikas Kumar is a well known person in field of catering as far as the state of Punjab is concerned but only few people knew about his liking for teaching of Food Production. He completed his three year diploma of Hotel Management from Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management, Chandigarh in 1994 and started working as a Chef. Before joining CT Institute of Hotel Management, Jalandhar where he worked as a Senior Lecturer for one year he gave his generous contribution in the up- gradation of standards of food service of Punjab by working for various star category hotels, where he worked as an Executive Chef for then a decade.

He also has to his credit a major role that he played in uplifting the standards of food & beverage service of Sutlej Club, Ludhiana which is considered to be one of the most prestigious club of North India.

Presently, he is working as a Principal for K.C. College of Hotel Management & Catreing Technology, Nawanshahar (Punjab).
