Dr. Nisheeth Srivastava is an aluminous of IHM Lucknow 1986 batch and he is graduate in Anthropology and L.L.B. from Lucknow University. He did his Masters in Mass Communication from Kurukshetra University. He has completed his PH. D. in Hospitality from Indira Gandhi National Open University. Out of 38 years of his career, he serve in hotel operations for 11 years at managerial positions in different hotels and started his career as Principal in 1995 in JBIHM at Hyderabad. He was founder Principal of Banarasidas Chandiwala Institute of Hotel Management, Delhi and FHRAI IHM, Noida. In FHRAI –IHM he was instrumental in tie up with EHL Hospitality Business School, Lausanne Switzerland with FHRAI – IHM. During his tenure in BCIHM he started international program of BCIHM with Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School, Australia. Pacific International Hotel School New Zealand and Niagara College, Canada. In 2008 he came in to NCHMCT affiliated institution after joining IHM Srinagar and he was principal for HM Kolkata also. During these periods for one year he was Director Studies and controller of examination at National Council for Hotel Management and Catering. He was also instrumental in signing an agreement with Cornell Hotel School Ithaca, New York, US for faculty development on behalf of NCHMCT. Presently Dr. Srivastava is Principal of IHM Mumbai.
