Dr. Bhupesh Kumar is the Principal of IHM Ranchi and a seasoned academician with over 27 years of experience in hospitality education and training. Known as “The Madua Man of Jharkhand,” he holds a Ph.D. in Hospitality and Tourism with specialization in crisis management. An alumnus of IHM Bhubaneswar, he has served in several leading institutes and authored works on indigenous cuisine, service quality, and hospitality research. He is a recipient of numerous awards, including the President’s Award from the Indian Hospitality Congress.

Ravi Kumar is a Senior Lecturer at IHM Ranchi, with over 15 years of diverse experience in hotel operations and academics. An alumnus of IHM Kolkata, Management Trainee with ITDC he has worked with Ashok group of Hotels (ITDC) at Managerial level for nearly a decade. He holds an MBA in Hospitality and Tourism and is a certified trainer from AIMA and ISTD. He has authored several books and publication in reputed journals. His academic interests include hospitality management and workforce training, and he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Management.
