Verbal communication is one way for people to communicate face-to-face. Some of the key components of verbal communication are sound, words, speaking, and language. At birth, most people have vocal cords, which produce sounds. Nonverbal communication has received much attention in the areas of business presentation, sales and marketing, and the development of social skills. Little attention, however, has been given to its importance in general communication de-spite major differences in cultural use and interpretation of body language, expression, personal space and other non-verbal tools. Aakash (b. 1-1-179) a journalist and news editor based in Delhi for more than one decade. He got post Graduate Diploma in Radio and TV from IIMC, Delhi, MMC from Hissar, M.Phil in Mass Communication & Journalism from CDLU, Sissar and Ph.D. in Mass Communication & Journalism from DPRTOU, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh.
He had conducted over 2000 live programmes and worked as an Asstt. Producer over 1500 News and current affairs programme of DD News and worked as Asstt. Director in a Tele serial entitled Afghan Period of Kashmir History for DD Kashmir. At present he is working as Senior News Editor in CNN-IBN.
He has attended many conferences/seminars in India and abroad. He has in his credit several papers/ articles presented in National/ International journals.
